What is Product Management Certification?

The Product Management Certification offered by Brainmates is a globally recognised credential that represents an individuals adherence to standards of excellence and a way to demonstrate a commitment to the career.

Students who sit for the Certification exam receive the Certified Product Manager (CPM) credential from the AIPMM (Association of International Product Marketing and Management). The AIPMM is an independent body that is vendor and industry agnostic.

Having a CPM credential indicates a sound understanding of the functions responsible for championing new products throughout the front end of the product lifecycle, from inception through to launch.

Getting Certified

To become a CPM, you will need to complete:

  • A one day exam preparation class.
  • A supervised, 2-hour classroom style exam.

Exam Pre-requisites

Before taking the CPM exam, students must have completed a formal Product Management course such as Brainmates 3-Day Essentials of Product Management training course. Other reputable course providers include but are not limited to:

For $1,495 (incl. GST), students receive:

  • One Day of Facilitated Exam Preparation
  • Annual AIPMM Membership

  • 2 Attempts at the Exam
