Amateur Music Evening (Classical/Instrumental)

Date

Thu 09th November 2023, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Location

21 Queen St
Murwillumbah NSW 2484

Details

After the success of the last amateur music eve, here is the opportunity for anyone who is learning an instrument to perform on stage.

Solo, duo, trio, come together here to meet like-minds. This evening is for any age, any ability, but with the understanding the audience needs a performer and the performer needs an audience. We are happy to have more audience than performers of course!

Performing gives another purpose to all the practice, a goal in mind, and an opportunity for others to enjoy and maybe a chance to find others to play with. We all appreciate the hours of effort to perfect a piece and the degrees of confidence to get on stage with all eyes on YOU. But there will be no judging, only encouragement and hopefully growing inspiration to come back, or perhaps to find your instrument from long ago, re-tune, and rediscover the joy of playing.

If you would like a spot on stage please contact Kym Stanhope; mobile 0417 427 472, email; kymstanhope@hotmail.com.

We are an intimate licenced venue. We often sell out so best to purchase tickets online.

There are seats for all, but not allocated.

For concerts the bar is open from 5pm.

And knowing you might not have time for dinner beforehand we will have hot food available to purchase.

Look forward to seeing you!
