In 1984 Yoga came into Zoe’s life on the houseboat ‘Ladybird’, in Kashmir India

Zoe is a connoisseur of many yoga traditions. She has attained several Yoga qualifications in Hatha, Yoga Ayurveda therapy, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Meditation.

She is passionate about “pranayama“ – ‘Prana’ means energy and ‘yama’ means control. It is a main component of yoga and the vehicle for meditation – the metronome of life !

The goal of pranayama is to connect your body with your mind – the breath supplies oxygen throughout the body while removing toxins – advanced pranayama practices can even direct energy to specific areas within the body.

How many times a day, do you take a conscious breath – Pranayama is the bridge for mindfulness.

Zoe will share with us some foundational practices of pranayama that can transform your life if used consistently.

*Gregory Erald Owens (Geo) :

teaches Buddhism and meditation at a local school , manages resilience and compassion workshops , is the founder of the BBMC and the earth meditation tribe projects and a teacher and coach of mindfulness , meditation and Theory U.
