Supertonic explores the vibrant musical world of the Northern Rivers through recordings, scores, instruments, sounds, and stories of people creating music. Local bands and musicians have a strong connection to the place, drawing inspiration from the culture, landscape, and people of the area.

The Museum has collaborated with a large number of musos and featured musicians include Sunnyboys, Budjerah, JK47, Amy Shark, Tora, The Jezabels, Troy Cassar Daley and more.

Hear stories from the contemporary musical world in the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast on this exhibition tour exploring objects, instruments, recordings, sounds, and interactive activities.
