Embracing the energies of Winter through Magick, Ceremony and Journeying

EMBRACING WINTER MAGICK

The depths of Winter brings healing into the dark spaces, as we progress back towards the light of Spring growth, it is a time of healing, a time to nurture, to reflect and to process. With the intuitive and perceptive qualities of Cancer Solar Season and the Waxing Crescent Moon in Leo we will embrace fluidity, breathe courage and illumination into the Darkness and draw nourishment to ourselves and through these Magickal Connections we will enlist the support of the Goddess Sekhmet, Lioness of Transformation.

Sekhmet knows the power of light within darkness and the purification of Fire and through both, the activation of our personal power, she is the Eye of Ra and destruction, she is the Warrior and the Medicine Woman and Healer, she is the Breath of Life and Courage, she is Death (change) and Rebirth. She is the bearer of the Uraeus, the Serpent of divine power through her union with Wadjet.

Interestingly ancient depictions of Cancer are more crayfish like then crab and in Ancient Egypt Cancer was represented by the Scarab of renewal and water and fire flow through Winter weaving their energetic influences just as fire fuels Sekhmet who is the breath of the desert and our illumination through the darker time, so the waters of the inundation of the Nile create fertility along her shores and support our intuitive connections. So Cancer Sun and Leo Moon combine to regenerate us through this liminal space.

Join me for a day of spellcrafting, ceremony and journeying from the dark spaces of Winter and into the energetic flow of Solar and Lunar Illumination as we rebuild with the Waxing Crescent Moon in Leo and the power and protection of Sekhmet.

A note about The Wayward Path Workshops:

All my workshops contain spellcrafting and within this herbal lore, lunar, solar and deity connections, these alignments and tools are utilised alongside ritual, ceremony and meditative journeying, thus offering a full day of experiences with deep magick on many levels.

As a dedicated Serpent Priestess, I follow the way of shedding, fertile re-emergence, connection to the natural world, honing of the senses and the hidden realms of mystery and magick and energetic connections, there is serpentine energy woven through all my workshops. And you will find each workshop is aligned to the seasonal energies and changes where we dwell and with respectful acknowledgment to the custodians of the lands and the powerful energies of the Caldera. All my gatherings are also aligned to the deities that I work with closely and are inspired by and associated with the influences and guidance that I received over the years as well as the integrated past life experiences I have had with these energies. I do not bring in deities that I do not work with personally just to by into current trends or to be aesthetically pleasing, all my work is undertaken with deep connection, respect and experience with authenticity and integrity.

Workshops are open to all genders and levels of experience, some basic witchcraft knowledge is presumed, however it does not rule you out from attending if you are a complete beginner. We are all learning, growing and evolving regardless of the level of experience or the number of years we have been practicing.

Please feel free to get in touch with any questions.
