Location

Banora Point Uniting Church

Details

February Messy Church is party time!

We don’t ask you to sit still and listen! We ask you to jump up and get involved, to create, to chat, to play together. We explore a theme together and build relationships within our families and with each other.

Messy Church is for families – great for kids to get ‘hands on’ with craft, food and games, and great for parents and carers to get involved and build on their bonds with their children.

This month we’re talking about inviting people to a party and how we can be more inclusive.

Our format is:
> Craft activities and welcome
> 3 team games to test your team work and creativity
> all-in celebration of what we’ve made and a few songs
> meal – this month is ‘party food’ + dessert

We wish to acknowledge the Ngandowal and Minyungbal speaking people of the Bundjalung Country, in particular the Goodjinburra, Tul-gi-gin and Moorung – Moobah clans, as being the traditional owners and custodians of the land and waters within the Tweed Shire boundaries. We also acknowledge and respect the Tweed Aboriginal community’s right to speak for its Country and to care for its traditional Country in accordance with its lores, customs and traditions.
