Visit the Musem on Wheels at the Cooly Classic and enjoy a unique display of images capturing our local coastal places and people from the Gold Coast to Byron.
Also check out an amazing retro surfboard collection on show thanks to the Gold Coast World Surfing Reserve. The collection includes a Caballito de Totora made of reeds ridden by the Chimu civilisation pre Incas 5000 years ago at Huanchaco, Peru; a 19ft Wooden paulownia longboard Firewire Surfboard, based on Balsa surfboards of the late 1950’s, and; a 1964 single-fin standard surfboard made by Ken Adler who was Queensland’s first official State Champion.
Kids can also become an ocean conservator by joining the Green Heroes Turtletastic activity and learn about the very special and secret life of marine turtles from around the world.
