70km, 3 days, 2 canoes, one unforgettable adventure. Join author Benjamin Allmon, photographer David Kelly, director Jeff Licence and special guests as they discuss the voyage of discovery with Bundjalung canoemaker Kyle Slabb and the local Indigenous communities, as they set out in traditional canoes from the heart of the Gold Coast to North Stradbroke Island, a journey not made for over 100 years.

Cost: $10 | Bookings recommended.

Held in conjunction with the exhibition ‘In the Grey: The Saltwater Story’, on display at Tweed Regional Gallery from 2 December – 26 February.
