Details

Blue Knob Hall, established in 1930, is situated beneath the sacred Aboriginal landmark of Lillian Rock, and Blue Knob. Many social and educational events were enjoyed here up until the 1980’s when the Hall fell into disrepair. From 2000 extensive renovations were completed by voluntary community members and the Blue Knob Hall artist-run Gallery and Cafe was officially opened in 2004.

Today the Blue Knob Hall Gallery promotes the awareness and appreciation of art within the community and to visitors, hosting regular exhibitions and events. The changing exhibition program throughout the year provides a focus for artists and artisans with a retail outlet. The membership based group, is incorporated as a volunteer association.

The Cafe offers a tasty, home style menu that includes all day breakfasts, pies made on the premises, a selection of cakes, slices, coffee, teas, fresh fruit juices, and smoothies. Gluten free and other options are also available on request.

It is a beautiful destination to enjoy the gallery, good country hospitality and the wonderful views of Blue Knob from the cafe verandah.
