Tweed Coast Wedding Trail, 20th January 2019

Following the success of the inaugural ‘Tweed Wedding Trail’ in January (last year), the good folk at Tweed Coast Weddings are back in 2019, with up to nine exclusive venues opening their doors and gardens to anyone wanting to get hitched in The Tweed.

A unique showcase of this stunning region, the trail includes an array of wedding venues to suit, from the coast to the valley, unique barnyard style to classic coastal charm. The venues will promote their top suppliers, such as florists, musicians, local producers, cake makers, photographers and event stylists.

The Tweed has slowly but surely positioned itself as the place to stay, eat, play & wed. As a leading nature-based destination you can take your pick of backdrops, from picturesque ocean headlands to mountain and valley vistas, Wollumbin Mount Warning is the crowning glory visible from most vantage points.

The Trail was developed by the the team at Tweed Coast Weddings, “It is an interactive wedding open day, where all of the premium wedding venues on the Tweed open their doors, encouraging couples to drive around and see what the Tweed has on offer” said Manager James Mason

The outstanding success of the 2018 trail saw 1300 people tour the region, which is a great boost to the Tweeds tourism economy, with potential nuptials cross promoting operators from across the region for their special day.

The Tweed Tourism Co. General Manager Bradley Nardi said, “ we can’t buy the type of exposure this event brings to the destination, it’s a holistic way to promote all things Tweed to an ever growing visiting friends, relatives and wedding market.

Registration is free and open up until the trail kicks off on January 20 2019, for further information and to register you interest visit
