Meet your Step Change speakers – Adeline, our Strategist, and Ashton, our CEO:
Adeline is adept at finding the right strategy to help businesses to scale. As a Strategist at Step Change, Adeline conducts research into current organisational systems, their employees, and customers to come up with insights and analysis and provide them with recommendations that bring them a step change.
With a Masters of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Adeline won first place in the Management Consultancy Living Case Study Challenge (2017) for Johnson & Johnson. She also worked as a Senior Event Manager in Singapore where she enjoyed coming up with unique ideas and bringing campaigns and events to life.
Through that experience, she learned how to work in a fast-paced environment and become more adaptive. True enough, she believes that anything can be fixed with duct tape! Most people will never fully realise it just by looking at her, but Addie likes kicking ass. She traded her ballet shoes for boxing gloves and now practices martial arts.
When it comes to speakers, Ashton is of the rare variety, in that hes actually out in the field applying his theories and working the tools with some of Australias largest brands every day. This is because he believes that with things changing so quickly the only way to constantly provide value to audiences is to be a part of the madness himself. Ashton has spent over 20 years working internationally on some of the worlds biggest brands, running million-dollar campaigns for billion-dollar brands specialising in Predatory Marketing pinpointing how brands can grow by outsmarting their competitors. Hes a business owner and serial entrepreneur, always challenging, often controversial, and always focused on what gets results. Ashton has won the coveted Speaker of the Year from the worlds #1 CEO network three times, received film awards, guest-lectured at leading universities, won creative and strategic recognition, and was instrumental in developing Australias first mobile app.
If you’re up for this kind of fun, don’t miss this opportunity to stump our strategists!
