From the annual Falls Festival @ the North Byron Bay Parklands to an epic lineup scheduled for the Kingscliff Hotel, it’s safe to say live music is alive and kicking for the festive season and beyond.
Whether you ‘bless the rains down in Africa’ with Toto at Falls, or hip hop to Rapunzel with Drapht the NYE at the Kingscliff Hotel – there’s an abundance of world class talent in our sphere this summer.
Northern NSW has long been known as the capital of Festivals, with global festivals like Byron Bay Blues born here, and the phenomenal Splendour in the Grass that calls Nth Byron Parklands home.
It’s started a wave of artists touring the region with a swag of side shows, and the Kingscliff Hotel has cranked it up this year, introducing ticketed large-scale events such as Hoodoo Gurus, Daryl Braithwaite and Regurgitator.
Kingscliff Hotel Venue Manager Amber Jones attributes the success of the shows to accommodating a wide demographic of people with old school classics to a new hip hop generation. Keep an out for the stellar lineup in January featuring Pete Murray, The Beautiful Girls and Tex Perkins to name but a few.
Word on the street is there are still tickets left for falls festival (find tickets HERE), and there are whispers that one of our Tweed-based foodie groups will be popping up at the festival. For a perfect last bite head to Northern NSW for a summer of music.
