Join celebrated employment focused social entrepreneur Luke Terry, founder of Vanguard Laundry Services and White Box Enterprises, and Aurora Elmes of CSI Swinburne, whose PhD research partnered with Vanguard Laundry to produce a three-year evaluation of Vanguards social impact.
This interactive impact2020 webinar will involve a short presentation, combining insights from a social entrepreneur (Luke) and social enterprise researcher (Aurora), with plenty of time for attendee questions and discussion.
Luke will talk about Vanguard Laundrys growth, challenges and successes, and the learnings from Vanguard that have impacted White Boxs new work in building large scale work integrated social enterprises.
Aurora will share some key findings from the Vanguard Laundry research about how employment with this social enterprise influenced peoples economic participation, social inclusion, health and well-being.
