TBIC Christmas Fishing Event – Tweed Heads

The Brain Injury Community Inc. together with Social Futures invite you to join us for a Christmas themed day of fishing on the Tweed River on a wheelchair accessible BBQ boat.
Whether you’re a skilled fisherman, or this is your first fishing attempt, this event is perfect for everyone who loves to fish and for those who would like to learn how. All abilities and skill levels are catered for!
We’ll provide all the necessary fishing equipment and assistance, including bait and tackle.

- Our events are designed to create a fun and friendly space where brain injury survivors and their acquaintances can connect and enjoy themselves. We aim to support people affected by brain injuries by bringing communities together and providing excellent networking opportunities. Whilst this is not a provider event, we encourage support providers and carers to attend with their clients.
- Companion Card tickets are only valid if purchased with a full price ticket and require verification. Please show your companion card to a TBIC representative on arrival to validate this ticket type. Normal ticket costs may apply if this ticket type cannot be verified with a valid companion card.
- This is a community event in a public area, securing free or paid tickets assists with communication and operations of the event, and does not guarantee seating.
- In the event of unfavourable weather, event updates will be posted on all TBIC socials and all ticket holders will be contacted to advise of any changes.
