Travelling to and around the Tweed is easy, with a range of air access options, coach services and hire cars ready to get you where you need to go, from coast to countryside.

Close by the Pacific Motorway, a major coastal route, there is direct drive access north to the Gold Coast and south down into New South Wales.

The Tweed is well connected by air to various cities and towns around Australia and also to an extensive selection of international destinations. Major hire car companies are on-hand for the next leg of your journey, along with coach transfer options, chauffeur cars, taxis and Ubers.

Gold Coast Airport offers domestic and international connections and is the nearest to our region, just a 10-minute drive to Tweed Heads. Ballina Byron Gateway Airport is around 45 minutes’ drive and has daily services to Sydney and Melbourne and regular flights to Newcastle. Brisbane Airport is about 90 minutes’ drive and has access to many destinations across Australia and around the world.

Public transport, bus and coach access around the region is also stress-free with a range of services available via Greyhound Australia, Premier Motor Services and New South Wales Trainlink.
