Cane Toad Tadpole Trapping and Info Session- Tweed Shire Council & Watergum
Details
Cane Toad Tadpole Trapping and Info Session – hosted by Tweed Shire Council and Watergum
Effective cane toad control is here! Tweed Shire Council has partnered with not-for-profit community environment group Watergum to bring cane toad control to the Tweed this season.
Did you know? Cane toads are toxic at every life stage and have a devastating impact on our native wildlife, pets and agriculture. Female cane toads can lay two clutches each season, with up to 35,000 eggs each time!
Join us on Thursday 20th April at 6:30 pm at Banora Point Community Centre to learn about the impact of cane toads, trap thousands of tadpoles on your properties, toad-proof water-bodies and more.
Enjoy complimentary pizza and refreshments with the presentation.
Spaces are limited so please REGISTER!
