Learn to create your own nutritious compost with this free workshop brought you by Council and North East Waste.
This free workshop will be held at the Murwillumbah Library on Thursday 28 September at 10am.
You will join the team from North East Waste and Tweed Shire Council for a fun-filled practical morning learning all things compost and worm farming.
We will cover:
- How to make your own nutritious compost for your garden
- Ways to use your home-made compost
- How to make your own compost container
- The dos and dont’s of home composting
- How to manage weeds and vermin
- What you need to create your own worm farm.
You will receive their own bag of Way to Go Compost made from food and green waste collected from the Tweed! There will also be a range of lucky door prizes.
Tweed Shire residents of all ages are welcome. Bookings are essential and spaces are limited.
