About

Murwillumbah Community Gardens will be hosting a Native Bees Workshop. Our expert facilitator will be Courtney Castles, aka “The Stingless Bee Lady”, from Tweed Heads. She will be supplying us with a working hive of bees, which we will keep and maintain into the future. At our workshop, you will learn about the difference between “social” and “solitary” native bees. You will have an opportunity to build your own “bee hotel”, and you will be able to take it home. And of course, you will be able to witness and take part in the installation of native bees at the Community Garden.
