Slow Flow + Restorative – A Journey Through The Senses

The body can only feel safe when it’s surrenders to the present moment without wanting anything else.
Join me for these deeply nourishing 90 min Gentle Flow + Restorative Yoga classes at the beautiful Kingscliff Saltwater Studio.
Expect each class to begin with a combination of body awareness, breath and gentle movement to encourage a shift out of tension and into flow, as we open the body slowly and mindfully.
Poses are held for a moderate amount of time so you can explore your own personal experience of variations using suggested modifications.
Slow, breath initiated movement and Pranayama (breathing techniques) are woven throughout the practice, and awareness will be guided toward inner body sensations, allowing the mind to move beyond thinking, and into healing.
Restorative poses are introduced using a full range of props; bolsters, blocks, blankets and cushions, to support a well rounded practice where the body can surrender fully into active rest.
This combination of practices are designed to release stress from tense muscles and joints, quiet the mind and calm the nervous system.
A longer Shavasana (final resting pose) will feature, where I will provide hands on intuitive touch and very nurturing adjustments with the use of essential oils if you are open to receive.
Guided meditations will also be a feature of these classes to seal our practice.
