Location

Details

One of the things I enjoy most about hosting weaving workshops is watching connections take place, the shared stories, laughter and encouraging words amongst women. With this in mind, I want to slowly grow this weaving community. For those of you who have completed any of my beginners workshops or have done weaving before, I invite you to join in our WEAVING CIRCLE.

Saturday 25 Feb, 10m-noon

outside Bunny & Fig at the M-Arts Precinct.

Cost: $10 light refreshments provided and a 15% discount on any raffia purchased on the day.

The idea is that you can work on a larger weaving project of your choice and I will be there to guide and advise if needed. This is not a lesson: think tea or iced-tea in summer, biscuits and beautiful friendship building while tapping into creative energy.

I am now supplying high quality Raffia from String Harvest, so you will be able to purchase materials on the day if you need to. If you don’t know what to make next – fear not! I will have lots of photos and books available for inspiration.

We wish to acknowledge the Ngandowal and Minyungbal speaking people of the Bundjalung Country, in particular the Goodjinburra, Tul-gi-gin and Moorung – Moobah clans, as being the traditional owners and custodians of the land and waters within the Tweed Shire boundaries. We also acknowledge and respect the Tweed Aboriginal community’s right to speak for its Country and to care for its traditional Country in accordance with its lores, customs and traditions.
