Explore: In my spare time, I head to M|Arts Precinct in Murwillumbah to browse exhibitions at Gallery DownTown, shop at the Makers Markets and chat to artists based in the Precinct.
Sip: I count champagne amongst my favourite pastimes! The cocktails at Halcyon House are beautifully made and come with a sea view. Bin 72 in Coolangatta is great for wine and a bite and, for coffee, I love Bacaro or Keith in Murwillumbah.
Eat: Breakfast at Bread Social or Ancora is a must and Bombay Cricketers Club for dinner is generous and delicious. I also love FINS Restaurant & Bar and Taverna in Kingscliff. If eating in, I’ll shop for fresh produce at one of our farmers markets and cook for friends. My go-to for cheese is Deb Allard’s Cheeses Loves You.
Shop: For beautiful, locally made gifts, I love to support the work of our fabulous makers at the M|Arts Precinct. OnKliff is a regular too — the owner Carla is a designer herself and has an eye for what styles work for each customer. I also love The Foundry in Murwillumbah.
Do: In my free-time, I visit galleries, immerse in the arts and support artists — I truly do live my passion for the arts!
