Pet-Friendly Beaches in The Tweed

While on holiday in The Tweed with your furry companion, it’s important to be across the dog-friendly beaches in the area. The Tweed has several pet-friendly spaces along the coast from off-leash to leashed beaches, but there are some restricted areas in place to preserve our natural environment. In designated off-leash areas, dog owners must carry a leash and supervise their dogs. Dogs must be under effective control and able to return when called.  Owners must clean up after their dogs, and dogs must be leashed in all other public areas.
