nsw tourism awards

Bradley Nardi, General Manager of The Tweed Tourism Company, said that being recognised by peers in the industry was a great honour for all operators and was reflective of the collective spirit and quality of tourism experiences in the Tweed.

“We’re proud of all the Tweed tourism businesses that have been acknowledged at this year’s NSW Tourism Awards and are thrilled to see the region showcased through wins at the Gold Award level by Tweed Eco Cruises, Potager and North Star Holiday Resort.”

“To win at this level is a great recognition of excellence and helps to shine a light on all those in our tourism industry who work hard every day to deliver fantastic experiences for visitors.”

“The Tweed has so much to offer visitors from all over Australia and beyond and awards like this make us even prouder of our operators and their achievements that ultimately help to benefit all of us in regional tourism.”

Peter Burr, owner of Potager – A Kitchen Garden, said that he was thrilled to win Gold at the NSW Tourism Awards.

“Since opening nearly seven years ago, we’ve been committed to showcasing so much of what our wonderful Tweed region has to offer.”

“The team has worked hard to deliver a consistently great guest experience and winning this award is testament to their tireless efforts. A big thank you to our loyal customers too – without them we wouldn’t exist.”

The NSW Tourism Awards are the tourism industry’s peak awards, recognising and promoting excellence in tourism across 27 business categories, two individual excellence categories and the Judges’ Tourism Star Awards honouring outstanding resilience and innovation.

Managed by the NSW Tourism Industry Council in partnership with Destination NSW, the awards are an annual opportunity for all tourism businesses to come together to recognise outstanding achievements and celebrate united efforts towards recovery.

As a national program, Gold Medal Award winners of select categories at the state level automatically receive entry to compete at the Australian Tourism Awards.

The  2022 Australian Tourism Awards will be held Friday 17 March, 2023 at Doltone House in Sydney.
