Details

Tweed Valley Whey Farmhouse Cheeses is a family-owned and run artisan cheese factory situated in the lush pastures of the Tweed Valley. They use the milk from their herd of grass-fed dairy cows to make their range of genuine farmhouse artisan cheeses and gelato.

The on-farm outlet is located just minutes from the newly opened Tweed Section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, nestled amongst the green pastures and you can browse through the farm shop to buy the local artisan products and gift lines.

Dine in the licensed Veranda Cafe, or grab a table on the lawn and share a cheese or antipasto platter with a glass of Brown Bros wine or local beer. Watch the cows graze in the surrounding pastures. Morning and Afternoon teas are catered for with freshly baked country-style scones and Victoria sponge cake.

The cafe serves brunch and light lunches using fresh local ingredients all made on-site. On summer days you can stay awhile and share a gelato made with their farm-fresh milk and local fresh fruits.

Tweed Valley Whey Farmhouse Cheeses sells a range of local pottery, cheese knives and artworks along with jams, pickles, sauces, olives, salami as well as take-away cheese grazing boxes and accompaniment boxes for your picnic fare.

Experience a true pasture-to-platter experience at Tweed Valley Whey Farmhouse Cheeses!
