Terania Creek is famous for its residents who were the first residents in the Australian environmental movement’s history to place themselves between a bulldozer and a forest. The protest was an important event in the campaign to gain World Heritage listing for central-eastern Australia’s forests.

Spectacular Protesters Falls in The Nightcap National Park is accessible via the Terania Creek Road from The Channon. Enjoy its picnic area only 500 metres from the waterfalls.
