Inspired by the bounty of fresh produce coming out of the Northern Rivers and a passion for wood-fired cooking, Pipit has become a regular eating haunt for Gold Coast locals seeking out prime dining delight. Throughout August, the talented team at Pipit have invited Gold Coast and Brisbane locals down for a range of tasty pop-up events that feature guest chefs and hyper-local menus.
August 28 and 29 will see 2-hatted Melbourne chef Clinton McIver bring the best of his restaurant, AMARU, to Pipit. The special nine-course set menu is $190 and features a range of canapes, savoury and sweet courses, and petite fours. Diners can look forward to the likes of fresh mussels with pine mushroom, coral trout, smoked eel, venison, shiitake mushroom fudge and wagyu caramel.
