Details

The exhibitions on display at Tweed Regional Gallery would not be possible without the hard work and professionalism of a dedicated team of art installers. They are responsible for painting the walls, hanging the artworks, and lighting the room – creating an experience that helps present the artists’ and curators’ stories, as well as protecting the work to ensure its preservation for years to come.

It is not uncommon for these unsung heroes to be artists themselves. The majority of practicing artists supplement their income by working in other arts-related jobs (such as art teachers, picture framers and arts administrators). Tweed Regional Gallery has invited the installation team to have their turn on the other side of the gallery, showcasing the diverse and eclectic practice of the installation team.

Artists include: Mike Chavez, Chas Glover, Kevin Morgan Jones, Nick Pike, Sam Steinhauer and Ruth Parry (Williams).

A Tweed Regional Gallery initiative. An outcome of the PLATFORM program.
