The Gallery is delighted to host our Autumn Artist Floortalks with Richard Lewer One foot on the ground, one foot in the water, Susie Dureau River in the Sky and Lyle Duncan Making a Name.

Stay afterwards for the March opening celebrations for One foot on the ground, one foot in the water, a La Trobe Art Institute exhibition touring with NETS Victoria, curated by Travis Curtin; Artist at Work: Installers of the Tweed Regional Gallery; River in the Sky by Susie Dureau; and Making a Name by Lyle Duncan.

Please note if you book a ticket for the Floortalks there is no need to book for the official opening celebrations. Light refreshments provided. Drinks available for purchase. Apex Dining is open for dinner and booking is recommended.

One foot on the ground, one foot in the water is a La Trobe Art Institute exhibition toured by NETS Victoria. Curated by Travis Curtin.

The exhibition has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body, as well as receiving development assistance from NETS Victoria’s Exhibition Development Fund, supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.

River in the Sky is an outcome of the Tweed Regional Gallery – National Art School Masters of Fine Art Residency Award. The partnership between the Gallery and NAS aims to showcase emerging artists in recognition of Margaret Olley’s NAS alumna status.

Making a Name is a Tweed Regional Gallery initiative. An outcome of the PLATFORM program.

The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and the City of Gold Coast Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
