Bravehearts, in conjunction with City of Gold Coast, will be hosting a Morning Tea to celebrate our valued fundraiser and Gold Coast Icon, Claude ‘the Mower Man’ Harvey OAM on Wednesday 30 August, Bravehearts Day. Claude has been fundraising for Bravehearts by pushing his trusty lawnmower, Moyra, around Australia for the past 16 years, raising over $1.6 million! Bravehearts would like to celebrate him and all his achievements, including winning the 2023 QLD Senior Australian of the Year Award. The celebration will take place on Bravehearts Day, 30 August 2023, at Kirra Hill Community Hall, where we will raise Claude’s 2023 Australian of the Year flag in honour of his achievements, and we would love you to join us on this day to celebrate Claude.
