Join award-winning artist Rachel Milne for a two-day painting workshop that focuses on interiors. Participants will have the rare opportunity to work from one of the viewing points into Margaret Olley’s home studio re-creation. Participants will be guided through observation and composition techniques, and will complete a series of small drawings and a medium sized canvas.

Suitable for artists with some experience. This workshop is for any artist who has stood peering into Margaret Olley’s home-studio recreation and wished they could paint what they see!

Artists can choose whether to work in oils or acrylic. Some materials are provided, but artists are encouraged to bring their own brushes and acrylic or oil paint. Places are limited, and bookings are essential.

This workshop is part of the MOAC Masterclass series that celebrates the 100th birthday anniversary of Margaret Olley, Australia’s most celebrated painter of still life and interiors.
