Come along to grab a kit list and prepare what you want to take with you for the upcoming Emergency Season.
With the increase in severe disasters in Australia in the last decade, new research by Australian Red Cross has found for the first time that preparing for a disaster has a positive impact on recovery.
What does your household emergency kit look like?
Together with Bunnings South Tweed and Budds Mitre 10, Red Cross Emergency Services Volunteers will be at your local store to help you get packing, along with providing helpful information about making a plan for your household and all the members of it (including pets!).
Come down to pack your kit, start your plan and get informed about Emergency season and who can help you. Each item you buy to put in your kit will earn you a raffle ticket in winning a fully equipped “GO KIT”.
