Join Arna Baartz in this exploratory mixed media workshop: Celebrating Women – Frida Kahlo

What could be more powerful and inspiring than shining our creative awareness on the wonderful women of history. Especially the artists! This months theme is our amazing FRIDA! Join myself and a number of other lovely, non judgemental people at the art table on Friday evening for an exploration of all things excellent ART and WOMEN! 

The Workshop: Designed for creative expression using mixed media, pencil, charcoal , pastels, acrylic and/or watercolour. Develop skills, have fun and gain exposure to contemporary art making. We will explore a feminine concept, going home with our own portrait of Frida Kahlo. 

Materials: All materials provided for an easy and rewarding experience. Ticket price includes a canvas and a voucher a drink at the HUSK bar.

Be guided by an award winning and practicing artist in relaxed and no-experience-necessary environment. Create a work of art on paper in a supportive small group environment. Designed for adults and teens of any and all skill levels.

Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.

Meet your host: Arna Baartz is an award winning Artist with work featured in books, magazines and private collections all over the world. Using visual arts as a method of expression, personal growth and communication, she is an arts educator and founder of programs like I AM, Kids In Touch Arts and The Emotional Intelligence Initiative. Arna’s career spans more than thirty years and is an expert at helping you release your inner creative and make your creative marks without fear.

She creates in her studio at M|Arts Precinct where she also displays and sells her work.
