If you like real “solo artist” live music, fresh and spontaneous, then you’ll love Chris Bent’s acoustic versions of the songs that have become the soundtrack of your life!

Chris has over 30 years experience as a singer, frontman and record industry executive. His versatile vocal ability and huge repertoire combine to enable him to deliver an entertaining performance to satisfy a broad range of audience age groups.

While many singer/guitarists seem to get stuck in the 70’s & 80’s, Benno’s long career as a performer and record company executive has kept him in touch with the best music from each of the last four decades. That includes melodic, acoustic versions of many recent pop/radio hits. “A great song is a great song” and a genuine, heartfelt performance will always let the song shine and remind you of why you loved that track in the first place.

Because Chris isn’t locked into backing tracks and rigid arrangements, he uses his experience to read the audience and serve up a smorgasbord of great songs to suit that particular crowd at that venue on that night. In fact, if you give Chris an idea upfront of some songs or music genres that work best in your venue, he can tailor the show further to your specific needs.

Chris has performed his unique combination of classics & current hits at many of the most popular Gold Coast & Tweed Coast venues including Treasury Casino, Twin Towns, Talle Surf Club, Coolangatta Sands Hotel, Steampunk, RSL Southport, Kingscliff Beach Bowls, Cabarita Sports, Canungra Hotel and more.

So if you love to hear genuine live, acoustic versions of great songs from the 60’s to now by Ed Sheeran, Neil Diamond, George Ezra, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, The Eagles, Cold Chisel, Glen Campbell, U2, Vance Joy, and so many more…. You’ll love Chris Bent.
