About

On Saturday 23rd September you will be able to join Julia Hancock, to find out how to make the most of “companion planting” this Spring!

Julia is famous in our community as the founder of the Uki Garden Club and the author of “Gardening in the Tweed Shire”.

We are offering this workshop on an “entry by donation” basis.

This is a child-friendly event, but we do ask that children be closely supervised.

Our location is on Mooball Street, opposite the Mount St Patrick’s Primary School, next to Showgrounds Gate 2.

Please be sure to wear closed footwear, and please bring your own sun protection.

We wish to acknowledge the Ngandowal and Minyungbal speaking people of the Bundjalung Country, in particular the Goodjinburra, Tul-gi-gin and Moorung – Moobah clans, as being the traditional owners and custodians of the land and waters within the Tweed Shire boundaries. We also acknowledge and respect the Tweed Aboriginal community’s right to speak for its Country and to care for its traditional Country in accordance with its lores, customs and traditions.
