Cooly Roots launched its root inspired music showcases last September and has quickly become renowned as the Gold Coast’s premiere event for Roots, Reggae, Dub, Drum N Bass, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Soul and Funky Feel-good genres.

We are celebrating Cooly Roots 1st Birthday with a special edition event bringing you some of the tastiest music on Australia’s East Coast.

 Our events are renowned for bringing people together to dance, connect and nourish the soul while showcasing homegrown and international artists and connecting and amazing people in our community!

September 30th Vol.10 Special Edition brings you an ALL-STAR line-up that traverses genres.

Community Contribution
Cooly Roots event curator Ben Michaels (aka Benji Guerrero) is also celebrating his 40th Birthday in September would like to welcome everyone to join this event with the intention of community connection, respect and fun. To add further purpose to the party Cooly Roots is wishing to contribute to the following community project.
Coolangatta Tweed Urban Farm which is currently being setup to create a community urban farm project in Coolangatta for the public.

Ben’s will pledge to contribute $5 from each door ticket to helping the Coolangatta-Tweed-Urban-Farm-Community with the set up of this amazing community project. We also encourage you to follow the project and offer assistance if you feel aligned.
