Iridescent with ingenious wit and humour, CRUNCH TIME confronts important social issues with gusto in this story of family and responsibility. Come and see Australian theatre legendary David Williamson’s last play before he retired.
Directed by Penny Irving

About

Steve is the archetypal Aussie guy, confident, popular and sports-crazy. Soon after retirement from a successful career, he hands over the family business to his son Jimmy – who is a replica of his father. However, his eldest son Luke, an engineer who’s more academic than sporty, butts heads with his dad, causing them to be estranged for eight years. The family are brought together when Steve suddenly falls ill, providing the catalyst for them to mend their broken relationship – and for the two brothers to go to extreme lengths to fulfil their father’s final wishes.
