Details

EBB Owners:Join us on this beautiful 48km ride & enjoy Australia’s newest (& possibly smoothest!) rail trails built for all riders to enjoy.

We’ve been patiently waiting and at long last the Tweed section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail will be open (it’s official opening is 1 March).

This is a leisurely ride that will take in the beautiful scenery of the Tweed Valley and celebrate the great work that’s gone into establishing the trail. We will start at the trail head at the old Murwillumbah Train Station and ride the full length of the trail to Crabbes Creek, stopping for morning tea and riding back. Approx 50km in total.

There is plenty of parking around the Visitor’s Centre and Railway Terrace. If you want some coffee or breakfast before the ride get there earlier and with just a 10-15min walk across the river you’ll find lots of lovely cafes in Murwillumbah town centre. Just be aware that the ride will leave at 9am.

With a surface of bitumen and then compacted gravel this is a ride that is suitable for all ebikes that have at least 50km range 🙂
