About

Growing Edible Native Australian Plants – nothing more appropriate for our horticultural heritage and home gardens.

This workshop, facilitated by Susan Hennessy, in just a few hours will assist you to identify suitable native plants for your garden and introduce you to how to use natives in cooking. Join us for a tour of our established native forest.

Susan Hennessy has been a horticulturist for 30 years and taught at Community colleges for fifteen.

We do ask that any children attending this workshop be closely supervised.

LOCATION; We are on Mooball Street, opposite the Mount St Patrick’s Primary School, next to Showgrounds Gate 2.

Please be sure to wear closed footwear, and please bring your own sun protection.
