This course will help you to step into the world of hospitality, and through theory and practical course work learn to:

  • Select and grind coffee beans
  • Advise customers and take espresso coffee orders
  • Extract espresso and texture milk according to beverage type
  • Combine and serve a variety of espresso beverages
  • Follow hygiene procedures and identify food hazards

To be eligible, individuals must meet personal eligibility requirements including:

  • You must live or work in NSW
  • You must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen. Temporary Visa Holders who are contracted NSW Apprentices / NSW Trainees may be eligible for government subsidised funding. Please contact your TAFE college/campus
  • You must be 15 years old or older
  • You must have left school
