Details

Start your day at 9:30am on our morning tea cruise, sipping on hot drinks and indulging in local sweet treats while enjoying the breaking view of Terranora lakes.

Join us on our eco explorer vessel and cruise along the beautiful river for 90 minutes. From Tweed Marina, you’ll journey past bustling trawlers before reaching the Terranora Lakes where you can soak in breath-taking views of the lakes and the oyster farms.

Our experienced guide will take you through the Tweed Heads Fishing Fleet and into the peaceful mangrove forest. Get ready to witness wading river birds gathering their morning tea and fruit bats hanging out on their island! With commentary on fishing techniques, history, and wildlife, this is an adventure for all ages.
Don’t forget your binoculars for bird watching – keep an eye out for pelicans, kites, ospreys, and white-bellied sea-eagles.

Get a taste of the local catch and witness the skilful techniques of our fishermen as they utilise the lakes for their market supply. Add some flavour to your morning by indulging in our Fisherman’s plate which boasts succulent prawns and freshly shucked oysters served with zesty lemon and homemade seafood sauce. They perfect way to kickstart your day!

We will have you back to our wharf by 11am, energised and ready for whatever comes next.
