Training Services NSW is offering free 4-hour Supervisor Workshops for workplace supervisors of apprentices and trainees

FREE WORKSHOP – EFFECTIVELY SUPERVISING YOUR APPRENTICE OR TRAINEE

Workplace supervisors are in a key position to maximise the success of training and therefore ensure the supply of skilled staff for the future.

A capable supervisor can make workplace training meaningful and enjoyable for both the supervisor and the apprentice and trainee. Good supervisors have the most significant impact on workplace culture.

WORKSHOP OUTCOMES

 How to effectively supervise and coach apprentices & trainees.

 The importance of building effective communication and relationships with your apprentice or trainee in the workplace.

 What to expect from the training provider – negotiating training that works for you and your business

 What to consider in signing off on – the- job competency

 Practical ideas to help prevent and address workplace bullying and harassment issues.

We recommend attendance by those who have direct supervision of trainees or apprentices.
