Northern Rivers Food Harvest Food Trail – a taste of foodie heaven

Get ready to indulge your senses because the Northern Rivers Harvest Food Trail is back for its eighth year, and it’s bigger and more delicious than ever!

Mark your calendars for May 2 – 5 2024, because we’re serving up four days overflowing with unforgettable foodie experiences that will take you on a journey from farm to table.

This year, we’re excited to announce two brand new additions: two pre-days of immersive foodie events including bush tucker walks and native food cooking demonstrations during Taste the Harvest, and a vibrant farmers market-style Twomey Dispute Lawyers Harvest Hub at the iconic Bangalow Bowlo. Here, you can mingle with passionate producers, sample the freshest local produce, and stock up on regional delights to take home.

Speaking of delights, get ready to embark on our self-drive food trail across 23 spectacular locations showcasing the bounty of the Northern Rivers. With nearly 30 local food and beverage producers participating, you’ll discover hidden gems, meet the faces behind the flavours, and indulge in everything from farm-fresh ingredients to artisan creations.

It’s a chance to taste the true essence of our region, connect with the passionate people who grow and create our food, and create lasting memories along the way.

“The Northern Rivers has become a powerhouse of extraordinary food and beverage producers – from exquisite farms, to artisan producers, distilleries, breweries and of course our many hatted restaurants,” said Harvest Food Trail Manager, Lucy Ashley. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for foodies to get up close and personal with these people, and not just taste and buy their amazing products, but also hear the incredible stories behind their businesses.”

Planning an extended stay in paradise? We recommend Elements of Byron, Crystalbrook Byron Bay and Hotel Marvell Byron Bay.
