We are thrilled to announce that Hiromi Tango’s exhibition ‘Hiromi Hotel: Healing Circles’ has arrived at M|Arts.

The circle is a recurring theme in healing across many cultures. A symbol of the cycle of life, rebirth, regeneration and the interrelatedness of things, the circle focuses us inward while at the same time connecting everyone around us.

“My hope is that Healing Circles will create moments of calm and positive energy for all who engage. This exhibition is a gesture of love and healing to our Northern Rivers community as we collectively move forward together from flood, illness and pain.” — Hiromi Tango.

This iteration of Hiromi Hotel includes a survey of textile, neon and metal sculptures which explore the Hiromi’s desire to create nurturing experiences for participants and audiences that contribute to health and wellbeing.

Hiromi invites you to take a moment of mindful connection, and to take a look at the detailed forms in the exhibition. What might you create? You might like to wrap textiles with yarn, finger knit or simply reflect. You are invited to add your creations to the exhibition.

‘Hiromi Hotel: Healing Circles’ is now on show until Saturday 24 September 2022.

Opening hours:

Tuesday – Friday, 10am – 3pm
