Details

A simple, yet effective technique that can be used to decorate objects and enhance your sculptural weaving and basketry. You will learn how to loop around a small bottle or jar and also within a hand built frame (made from foraged branches). You will use high quality hemp cord from Hemptique.

DATE: Thursday 9 May, 1-3pm

COST: $60

LOCATION: M-Arts Precinct, 15/1 Brisbane St, Murwillumbah. Outside ‘Bunny & Fig’. The M-Arts precinct is a large warehouse – it is undercover but open to the elements, so dress for the appropriate weather.

 *You CAN bring your own bottle or jar if you have one you would like to work on, otherwise a selection will be provided. (Note – don’t bring too large an object as you may not finish it in the time).

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

*The minimum size of a workshop is 3 students. If there are not enough students to fill a class, you will be contacted and booked into a future workshop.

*If you need to cancel due to COVID related illness, please contact me as soon as possible so I can potentially fill your position. If you give me 3 days notice, you have the choice of re-booking in a future workshop. Otherwise your material kit and instructions can be sent to you in the post.
