Details

The artistic flair and talent of the Tweed and its surrounds will be on full display at the Murwillumbah Arts Trail (MAT).

This unique event offers art lovers the rare chance to visit private art studios, meet the artists, and view their works in progress. Witness the journey of art creation and immerse yourself in the vibrant local art scene.

Showcasing a diverse array of local artists, MAT provides an opportunity for the community to engage with artists at work, participate in art activities, and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces.

The trail weaves in and around Murwillumbah, the creative heart of the Tweed. Embark on a scenic drive through picturesque countryside, from the coast to the hinterland villages. Discover hidden gems and lesser-known paths such as the Murwillumbah Potters in Fernvale and the Community Printmakers in Stokers Siding.

Visitors can look forward to an outdoor sculpture exhibition at the head of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, featuring contemporary works by regional sculpture artists, and a collection of artists exhibiting at The Belle Riverhouse.
