Details

Portraits of Sound by regional artist Trish Tait celebrates the transformative power of music through a series of oil paintings. Each work contains the portrait of a young musician who finds solace in the personal expression of music. Painted on tondo, Tait’s oil paintings are reminiscent of vinyl records and remind us of the importance of being able to record and hold the intangible qualities of music.

A Tweed Regional Gallery initiative. An outcome of the PLATFORM program.
