Postpartum Practices Circle. Increase your postpartum support knowledge & offerings.

A welcoming circle for doulas, birth workers, mamas and midwives. Or anyone interested in postpartum practices.

If you work supporting postpartum women and are interested in traditional practices from around the world, this is an opportunity for you to learn first hand. Increase your knowledge and confidence and expand your offerings.

Join midwife Sarah, who has travelled the world, connecting with traditional cultures and midwives to learn wholistic healing postpartum practices. Having lived, learnt and worked in India and Guatemala, Sarah provides massage, body work and belly binding, intentional cooking and works with plants to support women in their postpartum healing. Be confident in the knowledge that is shared from Sarah as an experienced home birth midwife. Learn more about Sarah’s experience HERE.

Wisdom and practices shared:

  • Drop in with ceremony and cacao.
  • Plant wisdom. Learn of supportive plants for teas, oils, balms, steams and bathing.
  • Nourishing and intentional nutrition and cooking. Nurturing postpartum food and drink will be shared with you for lunch.
  • Simple body work and rebozo techniques.
  • Belly binding using a faja and bengkung style . Learn the benefits, when and how to bind.
  • Yoni steaming and sitz baths. The benefits, plants to use and when to do it.
  • Resources shared and your questions answered.
  • Multiple eBooks with knowledge and practices gifted to you.
  • Connection and network building.
  • Closing.

We are passionate about supporting the preservation of the knowledge we share. A portion of sale from our events always goes towards supporting The Midwife Project, supporting traditional Mayan midwives around Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
