Last Musical Raga Workshop of the year before the NYE Raga Retreat ~ * ~

A celebration coming to the end of the Raga workshops this year and also my 34th Birthday ~ ! ~

& the 31st birthday of my sister Sara Rath! A conjoined celebration ~*~

This will happen next month on Sunday 20th of November on my birthday and at my home in upper main arm where I have been rebuilding over a year now since the fire. Recommended to arrive punctually to enjoy the light and beautiful drive into Jerusalem National Park and the amazing property in which we are.

Through voice, rhythm and instrument we as a group dive deep into sound to explore a New Raga or Indian Classical Scale/ melodic journey at the end of each month (and in a new location each month).

Bring instruments, voices and most importantly good vibes 🙂

This is more a sharing than a performance based on Indian Classical Rhythm and Raga in which everyone is involved in the same style of Kirtan but ever growing and changing within the chosen Raga and different time signature Rhythms (Tala).

This is the last one of the year before we prepare for the next week long raga retreat entering 2023 so it will be extra special with a transition from the workshop into live music, food, friends and a giant bon fire that was supposed to be lit last year in commemoration of the symbolic fire that took my home.

Suggested Contribution $20.00 or whatever donation you feel ~ or contact me directly but bookings via this link are appreciated, which will simply circulate back through the party costs of the night.

(directions will be announced after booking confirmation ~ this is also to contain numbers).

Approx 30 minute drive from Mullumbimby and 35 mins from Uki

If reading this on social media (FB) Please “click going” if you are resonating and this can encourage food and chai preparation for appropriate numbers too. Please bring a dish or something to share, an instrument, a song or a good sense of humour 😉

Presents for myself are not needed, I wont say the same for my sister though

Upcoming Raga ~ Secret ~ ? ~
