Learn a variety of Asian dishes: rice paper wraps, sushi, satay & tamari dipping sauce, sweet chili jam , cauliflower rice & pho or laksa .

In this workshop, our resident chef, Marc will show you how to make some of these delicious, healthy, dairy free, plant based, vegan dishes that have remarkable health benefits for you, the animals and the planet. This workshop teaches you how make conscious choices and take control of your life and your health.

Our food workshops are a raw / cooked fusion, refined sugar free, dairy free, organic, chemical free, preservative free, gluten free, wheat free and whole foods based. This class is ideal for beginners, home cooks and chefs alike.

All workshops cost $100 per participant. This includes a 2 – 2 1/2-hour tutorial, a recipe booklet, all ingredients and equipment used during the day, a hands-on experience and you get to taste everything throughout the workshop.

The workshop is on a rural property in the heart of Uki, Northern Rivers, overlooking Mt Warning. Our farm is an animal sanctuary and is run on the principles of healthy sustainability, environmental awareness, a zero-waste policy and self-sufficiency. You will be able to enjoy the rolling mountains and fresh rural air here, and before you go, pop in to say a quick hello to our rehomed and rescued farm animals.

This workshop would suit vegans, vegetarians, anyone wanting to transition to a plant-based lifestyle, anyone wanting to improve their gut health, chefs wanting to incorporate vegan cuisine into their restaurants, naturopaths, foodies, dieticians, lactose intolerant and health-conscious people. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people. We will work in small groups so there’s usually plenty of banter and laughter and time for one-on-one interaction.

You will be treated to a truly indulgent, fun and informative day. This is a perfect day out for yourself, a thoughtful gift for a loved one, bring your partner, or get a group of friends together. Individual and tailor-made workshops are available upon request. Please contact Marc directly. People with intolerances, allergies or specific dietary or health requirements would benefit from a customized workshop. Please note, nuts are used in this workshop.

Our workshops run from 11am (please arrive 15 minutes beforehand) to 1-1:30pm at:

FAQs:

• What are my transport / parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free parking outside

• What can I bring to the workshop?

We’ve cut out disposable plastics, so please bring your own jars and containers (at least 5).

What can I wear?

Please bring an apron, tie back long hair, dress appropriately for the kitchen and wear closed-in shoes.

• Do I have to bring my printed ticket along?

Nope! You can show your ticket on your phone.

• Is my registration ticket transferrable?

Yes, but please let me know so we can be in contact with the person taking your place

• What is the refund policy?

A refund is happily given if there is 2 weeks’ notice. The Eventbrite fee is non-refundable

• Are children permitted?

We love having kids at our farm and they can get involved in all our farm activities. However, the workshops are not an ideal place for little people. We suggest getting a babysitter and having the day off.

• Will tickets be available on the door?

“No” as the events sell out prior, and we also need to know how many people to cater for. We cap numbers to ensure everyone has a great time and it’s not too crazy as we want you coming back. We strongly suggest buying tickets early to ensure you don’t miss out.

• I haven’t received my ticket. What do I do?

An automated email is sent upon purchasing tickets. If you don’t receive it, it could be for a couple of reasons. Firstly, check the spam folder as sometimes they get stuck there. Other times, when in a rush to purchase (!), some accidentally enter their email address incorrectly. If that’s the case, drop us an email and we’ll search and resend. But all good, you’ll be in our system.

• I’ve got a couple of other questions, what should I do?

Email me at: veggiecation@protonmail.com or phone Marc on: 0423022198

Please note: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel a class. Every effort is made to contact and accommodate guests in the event of cancellations. If a class is cancelled or moved to a date and/or time you are unavailable, you are entitled to a full refund.
