Reiki Level 1 – Mountain Retreat

If you have answered yes to any of these, then perhaps this Reiki Level One Mountain Retreat will be perfect for you!

Nestled away in the mountains, (just 20 minutes inland from Currumbin & half an hour from Burleigh) Sapphire from Gold Coast Reiki & Sound, will be hosting a lux getaway and Reiki Level 1 course.

You have either the option to stay on the gorgeous property for the Friday & Saturday night, so you can fully submerse yourself in nature and the Reiki energy. A beautiful place to forget the outside world and have a mini holiday. There are 3 different rooms to choose from but make sure you get in as soon as possible, as these will go quick.

Join us on the Friday night, as we gather for a welcome fire & cacao ceremony, to share our intentions and drop into our hearts and open the energy portals for energy to flow. Then head home but come back again for the Reiki Level 1 Course on the Saturday & Sunday.

It will be a powerful and potent weekend of learning, growing, connecting and expanding your energy centres. It’s actually incredible how much you can learn & up-level in just one weekend.

You will come out the other side with a Reiki Level 1 Certificate (there are 3 levels) which is fully accredited through Australian Reiki Connection and you certificate will be recognised all over the world.

But most importantly, you will know how to give Reiki to yourself (you will feel the electric buzz trust me), as well as being able to do sessions for your friends and family (they will absolutely love you for it).

Reiki is mostly known in the Western World for being a hands on healing modality. So basically you go have a session with a Reiki practitioner, you enjoy the healing session and then you walk out feeling great. 👍 If you continually have healing session’s, it can help assist with physical ailments, as well as mental and emotional wellbeing.

Now all of this is great BUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO IT!!

Sapphire has been taught the traditional Japanese way, so she will go into detail about the 5 pillars (the complete Reiki system) that was taught by the founder, Mikao Usui.

Most people don’t know that Usui was actually Buddhist, so his teachings had a strong emphasis on meditations, the Reiki precepts and attunements (which attune you to the Reiki energy). Meaning there is so much more than just the ‘healing’ aspect that’s predominantly taught in the West; it’s also a beautiful & deep spiritual practice. It empowers you to be in charge of your own personal healing journey.

Throughout the weekend, you will be guided through some powerful meditations, learn new breathing techniques with your hara (found in your lower belly) and be initiated into Reiki energy (through a sacred attunement process). All the while be held and submersed in mountain retreat.

Yeeeep, it’s as magical as its sounds! ✨

And just incase you’re wondering, you don’t need any prior training! So you don’t need to be a yogi or meditate every day (but super cool if you do). “Normal people” (whatever that means 😂) learn Reiki too. You just need an open mind and willingness to learn. You will also receive a Reiki manual to take home, so if you forget anything after the course, it will all be in your book. Plus Sapphire will send you out emails that go over all the information, as a wonderful reminder and refresher.

There are so many amazing benefits that can be felt through learning Reiki which include (but are definitely limited to) balanced emotions, calmness of the “monkey” mind and feeling more energised with greater vitality (wooo hoooo). It can also help with sleep, alleviate stress and just generally help you feel better. Reiki, which translates to ‘universal energy’ can also help you with your intuitive gifts and ability to heal past emotional and physical pain.

It’s also perfect for anyone who does massage, yoga or anything in the healing modalities, as its a beautiful and sacred journey and individual exploration bringing you back to the self. Location: Private location that will be sent to you upon booking. 20 minutes inland from Currumbin & 30 minutes from Burleigh

Exchange: $390 for the entire 3 days of the course OR 2 payments of $195 each.

Extra Info: Please remember to bring a water bottle, snacks, and your lunch for the day. Herbal teas and chocolate will be provided to keep your energy levels up.

Please also wear comfortable & appropriate clothing, as we will be getting on and off the massage table. Bring a cushion & an extra layer or small blanket, as we will be sitting still in meditation.
